A beautiful woman, and how I feel when I see her.

Perfect.

Perfect.

I grew up in Iowa. We didn’t have family movie nights like this. Damn it.

I don’t even know what this means but I totally agree.

Anonymous asked: Hi SSD, So happy that you like and can use my book VOLUPTUOUS PANIC! I have a new one coming out next year: HORIZONTAL COLLABORATION: THE EROTIC WORLD OF PARIS, 1920-1946. And now a correction on your Parisian lesbian club pics (from April 14). The top is from Fétiche (1927); the bottom two are from Monocle (1932). [Fat Claude is in all three photographs.] Warmly, Mel Gordon

Wow! Thanks, Mel! Honored to have you drop me a line. Huge fan of your work. You really brought Berlin to life! Super excited about the Paris book. If you do a book tour when Horizontal Collaboration comes out, PLEASE come to Portland and do a reading at Powells. I’d love to have a chance to say thanks for all your work.

Reblogging myself, here, but for a great reason! I posted this image set a few days back and mentioned that I hoped there would be a great reference for vintage Paris nightlife on a par with the Voluptuous Panic book by Mel Gordon and what it does for Berlin. Then, wish granted… Mel Gordon himself contacted me to let me know he’s doing a book on just that very subject! HORIZONTAL COLLABORATION: THE EROTIC WORLD OF PARIS, 1920-1946… out next year! Also, he corrected the original attribution.

So… the top is from Fétiche (1927); the bottom two are from Monocle (1932). [Fat Claude is in all three photographs.]

sexsavestheday:

I’m working on an upcoming novel that has a large part of it set in Berlin during the Weimar years… an amazing array of clubs and cabarets of all types. Research has been a combo of online sources and the AMAZING Voluptuous Panic book by Mel Gordon. I wish there were similar books for the Paris clubs of the time, and the early clubs and cabarets of Chicago, New York, etc. Does anyone know of good books on the subject?

True romance.

True romance.

Small boobs and freckles. If I ever take over the world, and you are the leader of a resistance army bent on ending my reign, the one-two punch of small boobs & freckles is how you can destroy me. I am helpless against them.

It’s a fair question.

Studio shot from an artist I love. And if you look up his work, you’ll find a man with a serious neck fetish. But I love how he captured the fashionable decadence of Parisian women.

Dans l’atelier de Jean Gabriel Domergue, Serge de Sazo. (1915 - 2012)

My second spanking post in a row. But LOOK at the seismic ripples of that spank!
Also, I think it’s romantic how she has her hand on her neck. I guess my idea of romantic might be different than some people’s, though I think a lot of you out there are probably saying, “Yep. Romantic.”

Dinner was probably nice too.

Also, I love that little glow of a smile Spank-Girl has when she gives her friend a whap.

Oh god. I feel you, my friend.
